Ilhomjon Kasymov is a founding member who currently serves as a President of the Foundation. As an Ontario Public Servant, he leads PCI Compliance portfolio for the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services (MGCS). He has worked in various leadership roles in many institutions and government organizations including MGCS, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education (Ontario), University of Toronto, WHO and USAID. Ilhomjon has managed various enterprise-wide government initiatives by successfully delivering some of the largest projects undertaken in the province of Ontario. As a strategic and innovative leader who values building trusted relationships and empowering community members, Ilhomjon takes pride in leading fundraising campaigns and serving the community.
As a U.S. Congress Fellowship recipient, Ilhomjon holds M.Ed. in Higher Education from the University of Toledo (USA) and B.A. in English Philology from Andijan State University (Uzbekistan). He received a Presidential Scholarship to study at Ankara University (Turkey) as an exchange student. He completed Business Edge Executive Program at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and also received Diploma in Fundraising and Voluntary Management from George Brown College. The best traits of his character have been refined through his love to volunteering, fundraising and community engagement. He is married and has four kids.
