Khurshid Ganiev is a founding member who currently serves as a Treasurer of the Foundation. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and has working experience at controllership positions in health and senior care services, non-profit organizations, restaurant and food, waste management and recycling industries both privately and publicly held companies. Khurshid has a wide range of skill sets and extensive experience in tax planning, tax audits and reviews, filing personal and corporate tax returns, preparing financial statements and budgets. He is a forward-thinking professional with demonstrated skills in building high profile relationships. As an outstanding team player with great leadership skills, he takes utmost pleasure in volunteering and community engagement.
Khurshid holds B.S. in Finance and Marketing, minor in Economics from Utah State University (Presidential Scholarship recipient). Completed CPA courses at York University (Canada) and Certified General Accountants Association of Canada. Studied English Philology at Bukhara State University (Uzbekistan). Attended Master of Public Administration program courses at the University of Regina. He enjoys gardening. He is married and has 3 kids.
