Mr. Ziyodillaev has an extensive experience in international legal services with a focus on commercial arbitration, commercial contracts, corporate law, data privacy regulations, and intellectual property and technology law in general. He is a licensed attorney in the State of New York, USA.
He currently works for a successful IT company, Astound Commerce, which provides e-commerce web developing services. While working in Astound Commerce as Corporate Counsel, Mr. Ziyodillaev serves as legal support to a global organization with an emphasis on Astound Canada operations and its Delivery locations (Ukraine, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Turkey, India). Mr. Ziyodillaev works directly with developers, product managers, external counsel, financial advisors, and in-house counsels to assist with issues of legal compliance. Mr. Ziyodillaev advises Astound Commerce’s local operations across commercial transactional matters to ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations, in addition to working on cybersecurity, privacy, intellectual property, employment matters, corporate governance, and intercompany contractual relations, between Astound Commerce entities and affiliates. He works closely with international cross-functional teams to provide strategic assistance across numerous legal matters.
Prior to joining Astound Commerce in August 2018, Mr. Ziyodillaev worked as Of Counsel for Right & Able Law Firm from January 2018 to July 2018 in San Francisco, US. He also worked as a Research Assistant for PluriCourts, Research Center at University of Oslo from August 2015 to December 2015 in Oslo, Norway. From February 2013 to June 2014, Mr. Ziyodillaev held a position of Attorney Assistant for Yusteza – Law Firm in Saint Petersburg, Russia. In 2010 – 2012, Mr. Ziyodillaev held the position of Attorney Assistant for Yureks – Law Firm in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Academically, Mr. Ziyodillaev holds three master’s degrees. Recently he graduated his Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of San Francisco, School of Law in San Francisco, California. In February 2017, Mr. Ziyodillaev has successfully completed the International Trade, Investment and Commercial Law program from University of Oslo, School of Law in Oslo, Norway; In addition, Mr. Ziyodillaev holds a Master of Law Degree in Business Law from Saint-Petersburg State University, School of Law, Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
He loves technology and he is very tech-savvy. He is an early supporter of any new IT/App services or technology, and he contributes by helping start-ups in his free time.
